Job summary

Vestis Corporation in Denver, CO is seeking a Class A Industrial Laundry Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:30am-7pm) to keep high-volume laundry equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair washers/dryers, and follow lockout/tagout procedures while collaborating with a team to meet production goals.

High school diploma and 3–5 years of maintenance experience are required, with hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years maintenance experience.
• Familiar with standard maintenance procedures and safety techniques.
• Basic knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and relevant codes.
• Ability to follow training, written and verbal instructions.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Shift work may include weekends; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all plant equipment including high volume industrial washers and/or dryers.
• Repairs and replaces equipment as needed; performs basic plumbing, mechanical and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots issues by following technical manuals and schematics.
• Orders necessary parts, tools, and equipment per procurement policy.
• Maintains a proper Daily Schedule Control for equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance schedules/records.
• Performs wastewater handling tasks and related housekeeping practices.
• Follows safety precautions and lock-out/tag-out procedures; adheres to safety, boiler and wastewater procedures.
• Other duties as required or assigned.
