Job summary

Vestis Services in the United States is seeking a 1st shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our industrial laundry facility. This role performs preventive maintenance on high-volume washers and dryers and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues.

You will work with a team, follow safety procedures, and manage parts and tools, with overtime as needed. The position offers hourly pay of $27 and requires a high school diploma with 3–5 years of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Familiar with maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Ability to understand training, written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant equipment including high-volume washers and dryers.
• Repairs and replaces equipment; performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots issues from manuals and schematics; orders parts and tools as needed.
• Keeps daily maintenance and preventative maintenance records.
• Operates safely; adheres to lockout/tagout procedures; works overtime as required.
