Qualifications

• Experience with large commercial/industrial laundry operations (6 months) or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and talk with colleagues and clients.
• Completion of a laundry operations training course can substitute for some experience.

Responsibilities

• Process linen for the institution including decontamination, sorting, washing, drying, folding and packing outgoing orders.
• Operate large commercial washers and dryers.
• Change chemicals as needed and maintain PPE protocols.
• Maintain linen records and assist coworkers and students.
• Follow written and oral directions and support team members.
• Ensure safety and professionalism in all laundry operations.
