Job summary

Colonial Group in Fargo, ND is seeking a team-oriented warehouse associate for our industrial laundry facility. You'll help process garments, follow the shipping schedule, and ensure safe, accurate handling from intake to outbound sorting.

This full-time role operates 6:30am–3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend shifts and overtime. You will monitor quality, participate in line maintenance, and support supervisors to resolve issues while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
Working knowledge of basic math skills.
Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

Becomes familiar with the garment numbering system (GID) and shipping schedule board.
Follows a shipping schedule and sorts garments into routes for the specified sort area.
Removes garments from supply rail and places on the correct conveyor or hook by route or customer number.
Hangs shirts by route and pants before proceeding to the next batch.
Removes odd garments and places them on the correct space for odd-numbered bars.
Inform supervisor of any quality, mechanical, or shipping issues.
Monitor end-of-bar garments for wrinkles and re-hang as needed.
Stop the line when jams or problems occur, including breaks.
Ensure garments meet quality standards (ink stains, tears, missing buttons, loose tags).
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow production best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
