Job summary

Vestis Fargo, ND is seeking team-oriented individuals to perform production tasks in an industrial laundry facility. You will handle garments, adhere to a shipping schedule, and ensure quality control throughout the process.

Responsibilities include sorting, hanging, and routing garments, communicating issues to supervision, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment. High school degree preferred, overtime may be required.

Qualifications

Ability to understand written and verbal training instructions.
Working knowledge of basic math.
Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

Familiarize with garment numbering system (GID) and shipping schedule board.
Follow shipping schedule and separate garments into routes for sort areas.
Move garments from supply rail to conveyors or hooks by route or customer number.
Hang shirts by route and pants before next batch.
Remove odd garments to correct space on garment bar.
Inform supervisor of quality, mechanical, or shipping issues.
Monitor for wrinkles and remove garments not meeting quality standards.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow production practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
