Job summary

Genesis Products is seeking a skilled operator to run the lamination press, setup for each scheduled run, and maintain a clean, safe work area on the production floor in the United States. You will ensure materials are loaded correctly and line efficiency is maximized while maintaining strict quality standards.

Job description

Your day running the pressStep onto the production floor at Genesis Products and take command of a high-throughput lamination press line. You review the day’s run sequence, configure the machine for the first job, and verify that all materials are staged so the line stays fed. With each cycle, you balance speed and precision—targeting maximum output with minimal downtime while protecting quality grades.You coordinate closely with the inspector, coach them on what to look for, and provide coverage when needed. Throughout the shift, you keep the area spotless: no broken boards under or around the press, nothing leaning on press gates, no paper hanging beneath the press, pits and staging tables clear of tickets, paper, or wood chips; consoles wiped down; dust blown off; and photo eyes cleaned regularly. Issues? You act fast—flagging paper quality to the paper room supervisor and raw board concerns to the scheduler so purchasing can address it, and reporting any equipment problems to Maintenance while documenting the details.Between runs, you track the story of production in the logbook—recording 1sts, 2nds, 3rds; temperatures, pressures, and cycle times; a full account of downtime; plus any paper loss or damage.
