Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced Industrial Insulator for on-site work in McIntosh, Alabama. You will layout, fabricate, assemble, install and repair insulation and sheet metal around pipes, equipment, and systems, ensuring weather protection and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years of insulator experience, ability to install calcium silicate coverings, and proficiency with sheet metal work while maintaining PPE and lifting requirements.

Formación

• 3+ years of insulator experience required.
• Ability to install temp mat, pads, and pipe coverings (Calcium Silicate).
• Experience forming sheet metal around pipes, ductwork and equipment.
• Must wear PPE and lift up to 50 pounds; safety-focused.

Responsabilidades

• Layout, fabricate, assemble, install and repair insulation and sheet metal around pipes and equipment.
• Install insulation, fittings, pipe cover and board materials such as perlite and calcium silicate.
• Use hand tools and equipment to form, crimp or roll metal in place.
• Measure and cut metal material to size; read blueprints and project specs.
• Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and meet site hazards.
