Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced Insulator for a full-time role in McIntosh, AL. You will lay out, fabricate, and install insulation and sheet metal on pipes, equipment, and systems, ensuring safety and quality.

The job requires the ability to work with various insulating materials and tools in an industrial setting. Responsibilities include installing insulation, sheet metal around pipes, and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of insulator experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fabricate, assemble, install and repair insulation and sheet metal around pipes, maintenance parts, fittings, equipment and systems.
• Install temp mat and pads and install pipe covering and fittings (Calcium Silicate).
• Form sheet metal around pipes, ductwork and industrial equipment.
• Install insulation and fittings, pipe cover and board materials (perlite and calcium silicate).
• Protect insulation from weather/physical damage using sheet metal
