Austin Industrial is seeking an Insulator/Metal-man to apply, remove and repair insulating material on surfaces such as air ducts, hot or cold pipes, tanks and boilers to help control noise and temperature. You will read blueprints and select insulation materials to fit the project needs.

Requirements include 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience and the ability to work at heights. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and selects required insulation material.
• Work at heights with no fear.
• Brush adhesives on or attach metal adhesive application to insulation material.
• Measure and cut insulation material to size and shape.
• Fit, wrap or attach insulation around structures following specifications.
• Seal insulation with covers or tape to secure it to the structure.
