Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced Industrial Insulator for a full-time maintenance role. The position covers insulation installation, sheet metal fitting, and protective finishes across industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of insulator experience, will be comfortable with calcium silicate products, and able to work with basic hand tools while complying with safety PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years as an insulator.
• Must install temp mat, pads, pipe covering and fittings (Calcium Silicate).
• Experience forming sheet metal around pipes, ductwork and equipment.
• Must install insulation and fittings, pipe cover and board materials (perlite, calcium silicate).
• Install sheet metal around insulated pipes and protect insulation from weather or damage.

Responsibilities

• Install temp mat and pads, and pipe coverings and fittings.
• Form sheet metal around pipes, ductwork and equipment.
• Install insulation, pipe cover and board materials.
• Mount sheet metal around insulated pipes and secure with screws/bands.
• Operate hand tools to form, crimp, or roll metal as required.
