Austin Industrial is seeking an Instrument Technician to install, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair instrument devices across our industrial projects. You will read schematics, wiring and process diagrams, troubleshoot motors, wiring and PLCs, and ensure safe, reliable operation in challenging environments.

Minimum requirements include 2+ years Journeyman experience, NCCER/TDLR/TWIC and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Education – no minimum requirements.
• Experience – 2+ years of Journeyman level experience.
• Certification/License – NCCER, TDLR, a Valid TWIC Card and Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

• Layout, fabricate and install tubing and tub trays.
• Apply math to instrumentation concepts and conversions.
• Read blueprints, schematics and loop drawings; prepare job reports.
• Assemble and disassemble electronic process controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
