Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a maintenance technician to install, test, calibrate, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems in our industrial facilities. The role requires reading manuals, schematics, and loop drawings, plus troubleshooting motors, wiring, and PLCs.

You will work with a range of electronic process controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and perform calibration using standard procedures. Full-time, 40 hours per week with some overtime.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience required (3–5 years).
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and testing specs.
• Experience with electrical control systems and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, overhaul, and repair electrical and instrumentation devices.
• Read blueprints, schematics and loop drawings and prepare job reports.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with proper test equipment.
• Maintain current electrician's license or identification as required.
