Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and control devices across facilities. The role requires reading schematics, understanding PLCs, and collaborating with maintenance and operations teams.

Strong experience in industrial instrumentation, SCADA, and a willingness to work flexible hours is preferred. ESOP benefits and comprehensive medical/dental coverage are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification preferred.
• Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation of analog instrumentation systems and SCADA.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and testing specifications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot instrumentation equipment issues and manage solutions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Provide technical support during commissioning and startup of new instrumentation equipment.
• Mentor lower level technicians and document work orders and calibrations.
• Develop and maintain SOPs using technical expertise.
