Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced journeyman electrician to install, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair electrical and instrumentation systems at client sites across Texas.

You will read manuals and schematics, work with PLCs, adjust measurements, and maintain safety standards in demanding industrial environments. Must have 8+ years of journeyman experience, NCCER and TDLR certifications, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of journeyman level experience.
• NCCER and TDLR certification plus a valid Driver's License.
• Ability to read manuals, wiring, schematics and testing specifications.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fabricate and install tubing and tub trays.
• Read blueprints, schematics and loop drawings and prepare job reports.
• Calibrate equipment using common calibration procedures and interpret procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with proper test equipment.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity throughout all tasks.
