Job summary

Celanese Wilmington is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will perform routine maintenance on instrumentation and electrical systems, use SAP to verify work orders and spare parts, and conduct field calibrations on process analyzers such as oxygen, pH, and LEL monitors.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, NCCER certification a plus (or certification within 3 years), and at least 3 years in instrumentation or electrical work; chemical or petrochemical plant

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification: NCCER certification a plus; if not, certification of hands-on skills and testing required within 3 years.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in instrumentation and/or electrician roles.
• Chemical or petrochemical plant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance on instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Use of SAP for work orders, spare parts, and reporting of activities.
• Calibration and verification of process analyzers (Oxygen, pH, LEL, safety monitors).
• Troubleshooting instrumentation and electrical equipment during abnormal operations.
• Installation of minor improvement projects and field calibration tasks.
