Air Products Inc. in Texas City, TX is hiring an Instrument & Electrical Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and electrical systems up to 13.8 KV at our Texas City facility.

The role requires reading electrical drawings, P&IDs, PLC/DCS knowledge, and experience with SAP or CMMS. Strong teamwork, safety focus, and the ability to lead a crew are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Transition to more advanced roles supported by technical training is welcomed.
• Five years of industrial experience in instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Trade/technical degree or apprenticeship preferred but not required.
• Military training considered in lieu of industrial experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation, analytical and electrical equipment up to 13.8 KV.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and equipment drawings.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate process controls, analyzers, PLCs, and DCS systems.
• Install, inspect, and commission control valves, safety devices, and electrical circuits.
• Collaborate with Operators, Mechanics, Engineering support, and contractors.
