Job summary

Air Products is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician to support our Port Arthur, TX facility, with occasional support at Westlake, LA. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation, electrical equipment, and DCS systems to improve reliability and on‑stream performance.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, reading blueprints and P&IDs, using calibration tools, and using SAP for data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus a trade/technical credential
• 4 years electromechanical or I&E experience
• Ability to read blueprints, P&ID's, and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and safety mindset

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation, electrical and DCS equipment
• Repair analog and discrete instrument loops and control valves
• Read blueprints, P&ID, single-lines and wiring schematics
• Use calibration tools and SAP for data entry
• Overtime and on-call duties as needed
• Support Westlake, LA site ~10% of the time
