Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking an Industrial Inside Sales Representative to assist customers with quotations, cost negotiations, order entry, expediting, and follow-up. This role ensures Crescent customers receive a consistently pleasant experience from the Industrial Sales Center.

Primary duties include selling to meet customer needs, handling requests via multiple channels, and using Crescent tools to provide services and quotations.

Qualifications

• Previous inside sales experience required.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution processes and procedures preferred.
• Industry experience with automation is a must.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and services to meet customer needs and grow market share.
• Handle internal and external customer requests via phone, fax, chat, and email to ensure a consistent sales/support experience.
• Provide quotations, cost procurement, order entry, order expediting, follow-up, and cross-referencing using Crescent tools.
• Capture and maintain customer data in Salesforce.com (contacts, accounts, cases, opportunities).
• Provide level 1 technical support within the Industrial Sales territory (project work, troubleshooting).
• Promote Crescent’s Value Added Services to meet customer needs and participate in vendor education.
