Job summary

Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. in Tucson seeks an experienced Inside Salesperson to join our Industrial team.

You will support both outside and inside sales, build long-term customer relationships, and act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure seamless order processing. The ideal candidate has a background in project management, customer service, construction, or industrial sales, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced service environment.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as Sales Assistant, Account Manager, Sales Administrator, Customer Service, or Sales Support
• Experience with ERP systems and data management
• Expertise in MS Office, including intermediate or expert level in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Support customers contacting CSBN by phone, fax, e-mail, website, or in person
• Help customers identify the right products for their specific application
• Suggest products that the customer may also need to complement their purchase
• Preparing quotes and entering sales orders
• Following up on quotes and open orders
• Answering product, pricing, and delivery questions
• Working with outside sales and account managers
• Monitoring open customer orders and purchase orders
• Ensure that special items or quotations are processed quickly, and that customers are advised of the status of their order and made aware of when product is ready
• Following up with vendors or internal departments when items are late
• Tracking back orders and communicating updates to customers/sales
• Problem-solving when something is holding up production or shipment
• Share sales leads with Outside Sales, Marketing, or Branch Manager
• Ongoing communication with other sales and branch employees to support customers
• Ongoing communication with Purchasing to ensure that sourcing information or special items are reviewed to ensure timely and accurate P.O.s to support customer orders
• Communication with Accounting to ensure that customer credit guidelines are followed, including establishing new accounts and setting up pre-lien programs
