Job summary

1st St. NW Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support engineered-to-order industrial equipment. The role blends sales and technical coordination to translate customer needs into quotes and specifications.

You will work closely with engineering, production, and purchasing to develop accurate quotes, gather technical data, and resolve issues, leveraging ERP/MRP systems and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• 2+ years in a sales or applications engineering role in industrial equipment.
• HVAC/refrigeration equipment experience a plus.
• Experience with ERP/MRP system.
• Strong Microsoft Office (Excel) skills and communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quotes between customers, engineering, sales, purchasing and accounting.
• Gather technical specs from customers and liaise with engineering teams.
• Evaluate customer specifications and drawings.
• Support design of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical products.
• Act as liaison between Production/Engineering and customer.
• Coordinate with sales, regional managers, and service on field issues.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors to resolve warranty issues.
