Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking an hourly, non-exempt technician responsible for routine calibrations and maintenance of facility monitoring equipment.

You will support IS hardware and networks, install new instrumentation, and maintain calibration records in a fast-paced, industrial setting. The role requires a high school diploma, with trade school or 5+ years in instrumentation/calibrations preferred, and experience with PC/server hardware and operating systems.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school degree or 5+ years instrumentation/calibrations experience preferred.
• IT background or aptitude is a plus.
• Experience building PC and server hardware and working with operating systems and networks.
• Basic industrial electrical background preferred.
• Mechanical maintenance capabilities.
• Ability to wear full-face respiratory protection and pass fit test.
• Broad knowledge of maintenance skills and willingness to take on more work.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Radiological safety training and 24hr Hazardous Materials training required after hire (PFNW).
• Work mostly inside in an industrial environment with PPE.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine calibrations and preventive maintenance of facility equipment.
• Address IS hardware, software, and network issues as needed.
• Install new equipment and instrumentation.
• Maintain calibration records and safe working environment.
• Manage procurement, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and support of Perma-Fix systems including networks and servers.
• Oversee end-user services and help desk support.
• Provide technical training to staff and users.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
