Job summary

ISC Constructors LLC in the United States seeks a positive, energetic instrument technician to support maintenance programs by calibrating and troubleshooting process instruments, valves, and controllers.

You will read one-line schematics and P&ID drawings, perform field calibration, test instrumentation, and ensure proper termination of wiring, with a minimum of four years' craft experience and an Instrumentation associate degree.

Qualifications

• 4+ years craft-specific instrumentation experience.
• Associate's degree in Instrumentation.
• Ability to pass NCCER Written Skill Assessment.
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug/alcohol test and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and replace process instruments as part of the facility’s maintenance program.
• Maintain process instruments including valves, vibration monitors and other instruments.
• Pressure test pneumatic instruments for leaks, controllers, transducers, and valves in service.
• Read, understand, and troubleshoot from one-line schematics, P&ID’s, and ladder diagrams.
• Perform field calibration of electronic instruments with transmitters, controllers, transducers, valves and recorders.
