Job summary

Terraphase Engineering Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Los Angeles or Sacramento.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of hazardous building materials, industrial hygiene, and environmental consulting projects while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. You will lead project teams, oversee technical work, mentor junior staff, and help deliver high quality solutions that protect health and the environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/MS/MPH) in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related
• 5+ years of experience managing hazardous building materials, industrial hygiene, or environmental consulting projects
• Cal/OSHA CAC certification required; OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification; CDPH Lead Inspector/Assessor certification or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Manage hazardous building materials and industrial hygiene projects from proposal through completion
• Lead project teams, oversee technical work, and mentor junior staff
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, work plans, cost estimates, and project documentation
• Coordinate and oversee environmental sampling activities including air monitoring and bulk sampling
• Support business development by developing client relationships and identifying new project opportunities
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
