Job summary

Metallus in Canton, OH is seeking a Health & Safety Industrial Hygiene Program Lead. The role supports Metallus plants across locations, developing programs, tools, and training for industrial hygiene and safety.

The candidate will work with plant leadership, deploy surveys, and create compliance programs, while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive safety initiatives and audits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with minimum 9 years of experience in industrial hygiene, health and safety, or heavy manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree with minimum 7 years of experience in industrial hygiene, health and safety, or heavy manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Leads industrial hygiene programs across Metallus plants.
• Collaborates with plant leadership teams to tailor programs to each site.
• Deploys industrial hygiene surveying and initiatives across the organization.
• Develops training materials and compliance programs based on best practices.
• Supports Safety team to drive initiatives across the organization.
• Collaborates with Training, Communications, Labor, HR, Environmental and Operations leaders.
