Job summary

Panasonic Energy in De Soto, Kansas is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Manager to lead IH programs across manufacturing operations and ensure regulatory compliance. You will oversee exposure assessments, ventilation controls, and incident investigations while coaching IH Specialists and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in IH, OH&S, or regulatory compliance in manufacturing/high-hazard settings.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA/NIOSH/ACGIH/ANSI/NFPA standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of IH programs across manufacturing operations (policy, procedures, systems).
• Direct workplace exposure assessments, monitoring activities, and hazard evaluations for chemical, physical, biological, and radiological agents.
• Ensure ISO 45001 readiness and regulatory compliance; oversee incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Mentor IH Specialists and provide training across teams; drive safety culture and continuous improvement.
