Job summary

Techtron Engineering is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Field Technician specializing in asbestos, mold, and lead testing. You will travel within a defined geography to collect samples, perform on-site analyses, and generate professional reports for homeowners, restoration companies, and insurers.

You will operate your own mobile lab vehicle, manage daily routes, and maintain certifications, demonstrating ownership and accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in environmental science or related field.
• Certifications in asbestos, mold, and lead testing strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in asbestos, mold, and lead testing in field or lab settings.

Responsibilities

• Travel within prescribed geography to collect samples for asbestos, mold, and lead testing.
• Perform on-site analysis using approved lab methods and equipment.
• Prepare clear, detailed reports and deliver to clients within timelines.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and document sampling and testing procedures.
• Represent the company professionally with clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain and calibrate mobile lab vehicle and manage scheduling independently.
• Stay current with regulations and best practices in testing.
