Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Industrial Hygiene and Contractor & Risk Management General Supervisor to lead IH programs, drive health and safety strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance across sites. This role partners with site leadership and divisional teams to manage health challenges and risk controls.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IH and health and safety with leadership experience, along with strong communication and budget management skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial hygiene and health and safety with leadership responsibility.
• Supervisory experience required.
• CIH, CSP, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive maintenance and improvement of Industrial Hygiene programs and systems.
• Develop relations with site HS leaders and Divisional management to address health challenges.
• Oversee IH budget and track expenditures.
• Support contractor management and adherence to IH requirements.
• Contribute to ISO 45001 certification efforts.
• Provide leadership and professional development to direct reports.
• Provide technical support and direction to team members and management.
• Assist in risk assessments and health exposure investigations.
• Ensure regulatory and site compliance; close out corrective actions.
