Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Industrial Hygienist for our Carlin, NV operation. You will lead health-related initiatives, develop IH policies, and train employees and contractors to promote a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include sampling, data analysis, records management, and stakeholder engagement. Experience with Cority is preferred; MSHA regulation knowledge is valued. Join a collaborative, safety-driven team committed to safe outcomes.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Hygiene or related field; equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with occupational exposure assessments, sampling equipment, and data interpretation.
• CIH or CSP certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions and communicate effectively.
• Mining experience and Cority (Medgate) EHS software experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state and MSHA regulations and ability to work with regulators.
• Team-oriented with ability to work in a collaborative environment.

• Implement, evaluate and maintain IH standards, policies, and programs.
• Develop and instruct IH and MSHA topics with all employees including new hire, annual refresher and toolbox training sessions as required
• Develop sampling plans and conduct sampling
• Collect, maintain, and analyze data using various methods of inferential statistics
• Maintain records, develop reports, and engage stakeholders in all matters related to industrial hygiene with a strong directive to control occupational health hazards
• Manage Cority (formerly Medgate), Managing iNet Gas Monitoring Stations, and other IH computer applications
• Direct work of Industrial Hygiene Technicians
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene or related field or a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Hygienerequired
• Proficiency with occupational exposure assessments, sampling equipment, and data interpretationrequired
• Professional certifications such as CIH, CSP, or the ability to obtain certificationpreferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skillsrequired
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the positionrequired
• Strong communication and public speaking skillsrequired
• Previous mining experiencepreferred
• Previous experience operating Cority(Medgate) EHS software systempreferred
• Knowledge of State and MSHA regulations and the ability to work cooperatively with regulatory agenciespreferred
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environmentrequired
