Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies, Inc., including its Applied Fluid Power subsidiary Engineered Sales, is seeking an Industrial / Hydraulic Technician in Missouri. You will inspect products and use hands-on experience with mechanical, electro- mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assemblies to help satisfy customers and grow the business.

You will lead by applying your knowledge to support the industry’s best sales team, read schematics, collaborate with engineers to select components, and travel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade/technical school education preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with 3 phase 480v systems with soft starts and VFDs.
• Must be able to read schematics and work with engineers to select components.
• Willing to travel to customer locations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Visually verifies product compliance to customer and company specifications.
• Functionally verifies product performance to the defined test criteria.
• Utilizes hand and power tools, electronic and pneumatic testing fixtures and devices.
• Complete department work assignments in a timely manner.
• Create rework instructions, or redline documentation and communicate corrective action direction.
• Shift work assignment priorities when needed and as directed.
• Responsible for organization of tools and work station cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Engineered Sales, an Applied Fluid Power subsidiary, is currently looking for an Industrial / Hydraulic Technician to join our team. In this role you'll be inspecting product and using your knowledge and experience from working on Mechanical , Electro- Mechanical , Hydraulic, and/or Pneumatic assemblies. You'll leverage all that hands on experience in your background and put it to good use helping us to please our customers and gain new ones.

We'll look to you to lead the charge in this area as your work helps to support the industry's best sales team.

Position Responsibilities:

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with 3 phase 480v systems with soft starts and VFD's
• Must be able to read schematics and work with our engineers to pick out appropriate components.
• Must be willing to travel to customer locations during special circumstances when needed (does not happen very often)
