Applied Fluid Power is seeking an Industrial / Hydraulic Technician to inspect products and apply hands-on experience with Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic assemblies to support our sales team. You will leverage your experience to assist customers and help us win new business.

The role requires leading the charge in supporting the industry’s best sales team, with responsibilities spanning testing, assembly, and documentation to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade/technical schooling or military schooling preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with 3-phase 480V systems with soft starts and VFDs.
• Must read schematics and work with engineers to select components.
• Willing to travel to customer locations for special circumstances.

Responsabilités

• Visually verify product compliance to customer and company specifications.
• Functionally verify product performance to defined test criteria.
• Utilize hand and power tools, electronic and pneumatic testing fixtures and devices.
• Complete department work assignments in a timely manner.
• Create rework instructions or redline documentation and communicate corrective actions.
• Shift work priorities as needed and directed.
• Organize tools and keep the work station clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Engineered Sales, an Applied Fluid Power subsidiary, is currently looking for an Industrial / Hydraulic Technician to join our team. In this role you’ll be inspecting product and using your knowledge and experience from working on Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Hydraulic, and/or Pneumatic assemblies. You’ll leverage all that hands on experience in your background and put it to good use helping us to please our customers and gain new ones.

We’ll look to you to lead the charge in this area as your work helps to support the industry’s best sales team.

Position Responsibilities

• Visually verifies product compliance to customer and company specifications.
• Functionally verifies product performance to the defined test criteria.
• Utilizes hand and power tools, electronic and pneumatic testing fixtures and devices.
• Complete department work assignments in a timely manner.
• Create rework instructions, or redline documentation and communicate corrective action direction to the appropriate parties when necessary.
• Shift work assignment priorities when needed and as directed.
• Responsible for organization of tools and work station cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED Required
• Trade school, technical school education, and/or military schooling preferred or a plus
• 5+ years of experience with 3 phase 480v systems with soft starts and VFD's
• Must be able to read schematics and work with our engineers to pick out appropriate components.
• Must be willing to travel to customer locations during special circumstances when needed (does not happen very often)
