S.I. Goldman Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team.

You will work on a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, performing start-up, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs while upholding safety and quality workmanship. The role requires strong technical skills, reliability, and a commitment to exceptional service. Travel to multiple job sites within our scope of work is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant HVAC experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical or vocational training preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, including electrical and refrigeration components.
• General knowledge of industrial chiller plants, electric motors, and pumps.
• General knowledge of 24V controls and BMS/BAS systems.
• Ability to use a multimeter to measure voltage, current, and resistance.
• EPA 608 Type II or Universal Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10-Hour training.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up of HVAC systems and equipment in accordance with specifications, codes, and safety requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to help ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC system issues.
• Work with compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, pumps, and other HVAC components.
• Test and calibrate HVAC systems to verify proper operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, basic wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Work with 24V controls and BMS/BAS systems.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and energy-efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers when parts or equipment are needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance, repairs, and service performed.
• Work collaboratively with customers, vendors, and other members of the S.I. Goldman team.
• Perform work in accordance with applicable codes, industry standards, and company safety requirements.
