Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant HVAC experience.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment, air conditioning units, ventilation units, heating units and installation of HVAC equipment.
• Licensed through Alabama Board of Heating and Air Conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Receives general instructions and location of unit to be repaired from supervisor.
• Checks unit or system and diagnoses trouble.
• Plans repair procedure by analyzing site conditions, blueprints, sketches, and other information.
• Performs electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and gas train system repairs as needed.
• Tests unit or system after repair and places it back in operation.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and observes safety rules.
