Job summary

RTX is seeking an HVAC/R technician for our Jupiter, Florida facility. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, monitor air quality, and respond to trouble calls to keep operations safe and efficient.

Qualifications include HS diploma or GED, two years of trade school, EPA 608, and the ability to obtain NATE or Journeyman status or an HVAC/R associate degree. US citizenship is required; on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Two years’ trade school experience required.
• Current EPA Universal Certification (#608).
• Must obtain NATE certification, Journeyman status, or an Associate degree in HVAC/R.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and modify HVAC/R equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Inspect equipment rooms and monitor air quality per regulations.
• Respond to trouble calls and alarms; maintain and repair refrigerant recovery systems.
• Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
