Job summary

Aerotek is seeking HVAC Technicians for a first-shift position in an industrial facility in the United States. The role focuses on maintenance planning, breakdown response, and safe operation of facility systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, coil washing and filter changes, preventive maintenance, and supervision of maintenance staff when required. On-site work and rotating on-call duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with general maintenance in an industrial or facility setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Hands-on HVAC know-how including coil washing and filter changes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical diagrams.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in maintenance.
• Proficient troubleshooting for mechanical and facility systems.
• Comfort working at heights up to 100 ft and using catwalks/boom lifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform scheduled maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Respond to breakdowns and troubleshoot to restore operations safely.
• Diagnose faults using blueprints and documentation and repair equipment.
• Repair HVAC systems and service facility equipment including coils and filters.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime.
• Supervise and support engineering staff during maintenance as needed.
• Manage components, fixtures and parts for repairs and projects.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and site policies.
• Develop and refine maintenance procedures to improve efficiency.
• Maintain stocks of tools, parts and supplies for ongoing ops.
• Assist teams in improving PM programs and maintenance processes.
• Write or adjust programs related to equipment operation as needed.
• Carry out reactive maintenance and planned repairs in shop and field.
• Support on-call rotation and adapt schedules for coverage.
• Be flexible to travel to other sites as operations change.
