Job summary

Austin Industrial seeks an experienced HVAC Superintendent – Industrial to lead field operations on large HVAC projects, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance. You will coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to meet safety and schedule goals.

The role requires 5–10+ years in industrial HVAC with strong reading of blueprints and P&IDs, safety leadership, and excellent communication across field and office teams. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of industrial HVAC experience with supervisory or foreman leadership.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and mechanical schematics.
• Strong safety leadership and knowledge of OSHA standards on active job sites.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills for field and office teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise HVAC field crews, subcontractors, and technicians on industrial sites.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work to meet milestones and project goals.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation of equipment.
• Oversee installation of chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handlers, ductwork, piping, and controls.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and conduct daily safety meetings and job hazard analyses.
• Maintain documentation, progress tracking, and change order notes.
