Job summary

Bahnson Mechanical Systems, an EMCOR Group company, seeks an experienced HVAC Service Technician to maintain and repair complex heating and cooling systems and control systems. The role requires diagnosing breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality under company policies.

Candidates should have 5+ years of HVAC experience, a high school diploma or GED, EPA CFC certification, and strong knowledge of BOCA/OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC system servicing, installing, troubleshooting and repair.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA certified for CFC refrigerants.
• Familiarity with BOCA Code and OSHA safety regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook/Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair complex rooftop HVAC units, heat pumps, DX systems, and related controls.
• Diagnose equipment failures, test parts, and perform repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections per maintenance agreements.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinator for scheduling and material needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and company policies.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and time records.
