Job summary

Excell Refrigeration is seeking a Refrigeration/HVAC Technician to join our commercial service team. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, service ice machines, and handle electrical and mechanical issues across client sites.

Requirements include a minimum of 5 years in refrigeration/HVAC, EPA Section 608 Certification, and a valid Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of refrigeration/HVAC experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for commercial refrigeration/HVAC.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• EPA 608 certification and valid Florida driver’s license.
• Professional, dependable and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Service and repair commercial ice machines and related components.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including packaged units and split systems up to ~20 tons.
• Perform preventative maintenance, leak detection, refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging.
• Document work performed and communicate with customers, dispatch, and management.
