Job summary
Dart Container is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain and optimize complex plant equipment. You will diagnose and repair HVAC/refrigeration systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support safe, efficient production in our Waxahachie facility.
The role requires five years of relevant experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. OSHA safety practices and SAP PM familiarity are valued.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of HVAC/refrigeration preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or equivalent training.
- Strong hand-tools and power-tools knowledge.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement solutions.
- Proven analytical problem solving and multi-tasking abilities.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Experience with MS Office tools (Word/Excel).
Responsibilities
- Follow KPI targets for safety, quality, production, efficiency and service.
- Install, diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment performance verification.
- Troubleshoot control systems and electrical and mechanical issues.
- Maintain maintenance records and SAP PM/Work Orders usage.
