Job summary

Dart Container is seeking a skilled HVAC/Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize complex plant equipment. The role covers HVAC, refrigeration, and process cooling systems, with a focus on safety, quality, and uptime within a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HVAC maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with blueprints, MS Office, and SAP PM.

Qualifications

Five (5) years’ experience performing HVAC/refrigeration preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience with trade school or training.
Special knowledge in use of hand-tools, power-tools.
Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement resolution.
Proven analytical problem solver with strong multitasking abilities.
Proficient reading and interpretation of blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel; SAP PM familiarity.

Responsibilities

Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, install, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks and inspections to minimize downtime.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues and resolve them promptly.
Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair logs for accuracy.
Train other maintenance mechanics as required.
Comply with OSHA regulations, GMP, and company safety policies.
