Merck & Co. is seeking an HVACR Technician to support vaccine process equipment operations and provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration within a GMP manufacturing setting.

The role requires reading P&ID diagrams, performing preventative maintenance, and coordinating with multiple teams to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and optimal costs. Night shifts with on-call availability are expected.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 2 years plant maintenance experience with HVAC/refrigeration systems.
• Must read electrical prints and P&ID drawings and interpret loops.
• EPA 608 Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CMMS systems; on-call and weekend rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems including chilled water, glycol, plant steam and condensate systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations; document activities clearly.
• Interface with Operations, Quality, Automation and other groups as required.
• Order spare parts and manage MRO inventory; support SAP change control.
• Lead calibration/automation testing and supervise contractor work when needed.
• Ensure cGMP and safety compliance across all maintenance activities.
