Job summary

Austin Industrial, a leading provider of industrial maintenance and construction services, seeks an experienced HVAC/R technician to install, maintain, and repair large-scale climate control and refrigeration systems in manufacturing facilities.

You will work on-site in Taylor, TX, performing installations, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and system automation, with on-call rotations and strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Typically, 3 to 8+ years of hands-on industrial HVAC/R experience.
• EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal / Type III) and RETA or NCCER credentials.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety training.
• State HVAC/Mechanical license (where applicable)

Responsibilities

• Installation and assembly of industrial chillers, RTUs, boilers, and related equipment per blueprints.
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting using multimeters and diagnostic software.
• Maintenance and repair of compressors, pumps, valves, and drives.
• Program and troubleshoot BMS and VAV systems.
• Maintain CMMS records and track maintenance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental safety standards.
