Job summary

Austin Industrial seeks an HVAC Technician to perform installs, repairs, and preventive maintenance across refrigeration, air conditioning, boilers, heat pumps, and related systems. The role involves reading blueprints, welding, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of industrial HVAC experience, and the position offers comprehensive benefits and a path within a 100% ESOP-owned environment. On-site work across the district is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and industrial equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to read blueprints, piping schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with brazing, soldering, pipefitting and welding.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, Plan, and Perform Preventive Maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Plan shutdowns for maintenance and repair pumps and related equipment.
• Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, and wiring diagrams.
• Inspect and maintain mechanical systems, motors, compressors, pumps, and ducts.
• Install and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and steam distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot and modify HVAC systems to optimize performance.
• Maintain compliance with city, state, and EPA regulations.
