Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking an HVAC/Maintenance Technician at the Mount Holly plant to ensure building systems run safely and efficiently. You will support process improvements and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and pneumatic equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing plant HVAC systems, reading schematics, fabricating ductwork, and performing PMs.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safe use of meters and gauges.
• Refrigerant certification is required or preferred.
• Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred.
• Documentation of four years HVAC maintenance in an industrial facility.

Responsibilities

• Performs HVAC troubleshooting and repairs on all plant HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoots high and low voltage electrical systems.
• Reads and interprets electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Repair leaks in coils, pipes and HVAC components.
• Perform mechanical maintenance from work orders and PMs.
• Install ductwork and sheet metal parts as needed.
• Ensure safety and compliance in all maintenance activities.
