Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Mount Holly, NC, is seeking a Technician II to perform intermediate-level technical and mechanical work in support of manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot equipment, repair and maintain systems, and help meet production goals while upholding safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience in commercial vehicle inspection or repair, strong mechanical aptitude, good computer skills, and the ability to read assembly

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in commercial vehicle inspection, repair or a related field.
• Capable of repetitive hand manipulation and lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read assembly prints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and computer literacy.
• Willing to work overtime and either first or second shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate-level mechanical and technical work to support manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes, conduct repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals while upholding safety and quality.
• Assist with cross-training and other duties as required.
