Job summary

Dart Container is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead safety, reliability, and facilities across our production operations. You will oversee preventive and predictive maintenance, drive KPI-driven improvements, and manage a multi-discipline team responsible for equipment, security, and grounds.

The role requires strong leadership, deep maintenance knowledge, and experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with five years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent with eight years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Four years maintenance experience, manufacturing preferred.
• Two years specific experience performing maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Knowledge in multiple maintenance and skilled trades disciplines such as mechanical and electrical maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, pipefitting, automation, robotics, and controls.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and promote practices and processes to provide safe products compliant with laws and regulations.
• Take ownership and demonstrate leadership to achieve Safety, Quality, Service, Efficiency and Employee Development goals.
• Monitor KPI’s anticipating and correcting trends to meet targets.
• Lead by example to promote safety and GMP adherence.
• Manage the team responsible for maintenance, equipment, and facilities.
• Direct and assist in capital improvement projects and installations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve uptime, reliability, and efficiency.
• Coordinate with maintenance planners and production to build weekly proactive maintenance schedules.
• Analyze production schedules and work orders to determine priorities for repairs and installation.
• Audit the floor and ensure adherence to standard work; initiate root-cause analyses for equipment issues.
