Job summary

Daikin Applied in Lincoln, NE is seeking a full-time HVAC Journeyman to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial systems including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and heat pumps.

You will lead apprentices, perform preventative maintenance, document service, and participate in ongoing training. A union Journeyman status and a valid license are required; on-site work with a company vehicle and equipment provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience; or 7+ years with equivalent education.
• Journeyman status accepted by the union.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Technical HVAC training or certificate preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service commercial HVAC equipment.
• Inspect, test, and maintain rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and heat pumps.
• Lead apprentices through hands-on demonstrations and training.
• Document service, billing, timecards, and reports promptly.
