Job summary

Aerotek in Carlisle, PA is hiring an Industrial & Hydraulic Hose Assembler in a warehouse and production setting. You will assemble, test, and inspect hose products used in a wide range of commercial and industrial applications, while supporting material handling and inventory.

This role uses presses, crimpers and various hand and power tools, and involves reading work orders in English, adhering to safety guidelines, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial and hydraulic hoses and couplings in accordance with written work orders and established procedures.
• Manually assemble hoses and couplings using presses, crimpers, and a variety of hand and power tools.
• Test fire hoses and other hose assemblies following documented standards and safety guidelines.
• Read and follow work orders and instructions written in English to complete each job accurately.
• Inspect assembled products for quality issues and promptly report defects or concerns to a supervisor.
• Ability to read and understand written work instructions and work orders in English.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools and power tools for assembly work.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality and accurate documentation.
