Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a Hardware Systems Lead for Industrials to own the end-to-end hardware architecture for heavy industrial vehicle programs. You will prototype, build, install, test, and debug hardware in the field and on machines, ensuring survivability in harsh environments.

You will interface with customers, lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and drive reliability across mechanical, electrical, and sensor subsystems. This role requires hands‑on field work.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience with heavy industrial or off‑highway vehicle hardware.
• Strong system level understanding of mechanical and electrical design.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end hardware architecture for industrial vehicle programs.
• Interface with customers as hardware representative.
• Prototype, build, install, debug, and test hardware on real machines.
• Drive survivability against vibration, dust, water ingress, thermal extremes, EMI.
• Lead hardware design reviews and mentor engineers.
