Job summary

Applied Intuition is bringing Physical AI to the machines that build the world. As Hardware Systems Lead for Industrials, you will be the hands-on chief engineer for the hardware that runs on heavy industrial vehicles in mining, agriculture, and construction.

You will own the end-to-end hardware architecture, prototype, build, install, debug, and test hardware on real machines, and lead survivability against vibration, dust, water ingress, and thermal extremes.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on hardware engineering on heavy industrial vehicles.
• Deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and power distribution.
• Experience designing hardware to survive harsh environments, with vibration, ingress protection, thermal management and EMI.
• Lab and field experience with prototypes, wiring and debugging on real machines.
• Familiarity with autonomy hardware and OEM integration.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hardware architecture for industrial vehicle programs.
• Prototype, build, install, debug and test hardware on real machines.
• Define survivability against vibration, dust, water ingress, and thermal extremes.
• Lead environmental and durability testing and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate integration of sensors, compute, power, networking, and actuation.
• Support field deployments at mine sites and farms.
