Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Systems Lead for Industrials to own the end-to-end hardware architecture for heavy industrial vehicle programs. You will prototype, build, install, debug, and test hardware on real machines in challenging environments.

You will drive survivability of sensors, compute, harnesses, and enclosures, lead environmental testing, and mentor engineers while engaging with OEMs and field operators on mine sites and farms.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on hardware engineering on heavy industrial or off-highway vehicles.
• Experience designing hardware to survive harsh environments, with vibration, shock, ingress, thermal management and EMI.
• Hands-on lab and field experience building prototypes and diagnosing failures on real machines.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hardware architecture for Applied's industrial vehicle programs.
• Prototype, build, install, debug, and test hardware on real machines.
• Define and drive survivability for sensors, compute, harnesses, and enclosures.
• Design and run environmental and durability testing and drive root-cause fixes.
• Lead hardware design reviews and mentor other engineers.
• Support field deployments at mine sites, farms, and customer facilities.
